Scenes and Clips

A Clip is an element composed of at least of one Layer and one Instance. This is where you manage Layers and frames to create your animation.

A Scene is an element composed of at least of one Clip. When a Scene contains a single Clip, both elements cannot be differentiated. However, TVPaint's interface changes when a Scene contains multiple Clips, as you can see:
