Bloom, color range, lumix
Bloom
This effect adds a blurred halo on the current image and may give an unreal aspect to an animated footage. While the Glow effect affects transparent pixels, the Bloom effect is applied to an image's opaque pixels.
The parameters Width and Height are the same as those for the Glow effect. If you wish, you may apply the Bloom effect to the color channel of your choice (Red, Green or Blue) and control the Blur, Saturation and Luminosity of this halo.
Color range
This effect replaces the colors of one of the channels Red, Green, Blue, Alpha or Luminosity with those of the gradient of your choice.
In the example above: a blue > orange > yellow gradient was applied on the image's luminosity channel:
- The yellow pixels replace the pixels with the highest luminosity,
- The orange pixels replace the midtone pixels,
- The blue pixels replace the darker pixels.
Lumix
This effect replaces the luminosity values of an image's pixels with those of another image or footage.
