Apply FX
Now, the sole remaining step is the application of the FX. But before pressing on the Apply FX Stack button, we will review the different options of the Apply On section.
This section helps you choose on which Layer(s) the FX has to be applied. Select:
- Current Layer to apply the FX on the Current Layer only.
- Current Group to apply the FX on all Layers from the same Color Group as the Current Layer.
- All Layers, as you guessed, to apply the FX on all Layers from the Current Clip.
Then, you can choose if the FX is to be applied:
- On a Selection only (so, do no forget to select images!).
- Or on All Instances contained in the Layer(s).
At last, choose to apply your FX:
- On Frames (which means all frames).
- On Instance's Heads only.
- Depending on the Layer's Autobreak Instance Value (if off, the FX applies on Heads; if on, the FX applies on all frames and breaks exposures into new Instances).
