Preview (Proxy) settings
The Preview Settings are used to configure the way your computer and TVPaint Animation interact to play your animations, via a Proxy. You may open the Preview Settings panel below via the Windows > Animation main menu:
This Panel's information is also summarized in the Info bar, at the bottom left of the main window:
-
Background Proxy Render: enable this option if you want the proxy processes your animation when you're doing nothing. If you disable this option, the proxy won't process anything.
-
Force Proxy Render: enable this option if you want to read your animation after the proxy has totally processed your animation. If you disable this option, the proxy will process your animation while playing it.
-
Quality: controls the images' quality when playing your animation. The higher the percentage, the better the quality. Check the Full Quality Preview option if you want to play your animation with the best quality possible.
-
Show TC: enable this option if you want to see time codes (if your Timeline relies on time code mode) or FPS codes (if your Timeline relies on frame mode).
-
Time Warning: this option allows you to display the Info Bar in red if your animation skips some frames during playback:
- Play all: enable this option if you want the proxy process all images. If you disable this option, some images can be unread when playing the animation.
