Project Window and Canvas

The Project Window holds the Canvas, which is your drawing area:

TVPaint only allows drawings to be made on the Canvas: you won't be able to draw beyond this area.

Since drawing is only allowed on the Canvas, moving drawings out of this area will crop them. Fortunately, you can always undo ("U" keyboard shortcut) an action if things go wrong.

The Project Window also holds some information:

• The current project's name, current Clip's name, zoom level, current layer's name, and the current image number are displayed at the top of its frame.
• It also harbors the Playback Bar we have described previously.

Some additional options are also present on this window and will be described later on this manual. They will allow you to:

• Rotate, pan and zoom in / out your Canvas.
• Select display options for the Canvas.
• Set Mark In and Mark Out points.
