Add exposure cells

We have already seen how to add Exposure Cells to an Instance using their bottom right rectangle handle in the Instance chapter.

But there are other ways to add new images.

The Image > Exposure > Add Exposure option allows you to add a new Exposure to the current instance:

The Image > Exposure menu

You can also grab the Instance's upper right handle and stretch it to any number of images you want. Releasing the click makes the Increase Layer Length panel appear, as seen in the previous lesson:

Increase Layer Length panel

As we have seen before, there are two ways you can use this panel to increase an Instance's Exposures:

  • Select the Repeat > Exposure option then click on Apply to add Exposures to the Layer's last Instance:

    Repeat Exposure option

  • Select the Add Empty Exposure option then click on Apply to create an empty Instance followed by Exposure Cells after the Layer's last Instance:

Other options to Insert, Duplicate and Delete Instances and Exposures will be explained in the Animator Panel section.
