Overview
As explained previously, the Main Panel holds TVPaint's most often used tools. We will review those tools in great depth in the subsequent pages of this manual.
We can regroup the Main Panel's tools into different sections:

- Shape tools: allowing you to select a drawing shape (freehand Strokes, Lines, Rectangles, Circles, Splines).
- Paint Bucket tool: allowing you to color your animation.
- Selection, Cutting and Crop tools.
- Rigging tool: allowing you to turn rigging mode on with Puppet Layers. This tool will be explained in a the "Animation: puppet layer" section of the user manual.
- Transformation tools: allowing you to Pan, Transform, Warp and change the Perspective of your drawing. Those tools will be covered in the "Drawing: transformations" section of the user manual.
- Camera: allowing you to turn the Camera mode on, which will be covered in a dedicated section of the user manual.
- Shortcuts and drawing sub-options. The shortcut icon located at the bottom right corner is related to the Stencil, a feature explained in another section of the manual.
Settings for those different tools are to be found in the Tool Panel, which will be partly covered in this chapter (brush-related settings will be explained in the Tool Panel sub-section).
