Marks
The Marks Guide is a special Guide which will not help you drawing straight or parallel lines. However, this Guide type will be useful should you want to place text or stamp a brush tip at regular or specific intervals on your Canvas.
Adding a Marks Guide will make virtual "+" crosses appear on your Canvas:
Once created, you will have access to this Guide's options in the Guidelines panel:
The Eye, Magnet, Opacity and Margin functions have been covered in the previous, Overview section.
- The Points X and Points Y options will allow you to create more Marks.
Those settings' values can be changed either by using the dedicated mini-sliders or by entering a number in the dedicated fields.
The Edit function is not available for the Marks Guide. You have to rely on the Guidelines panel's settings to modify it.
The Assist function is not available for the Marks Guide. You have to keep the Magnet option active to snap whatever you want on the Marks.
